Hi Patti. Kaye here from Melbourne, Australia. I love your videos and find your generous and fun attitude very appealing. You have a calm, reassuring way of teaching that is great for people like me who have less experience and less confidence than you. I have made your rope basket, the low one with fabric rolled around some of the rope, and then went on to use the same technique on drink coasters and place mats. Even my husband Phil is impressed! Thanks again Patti.

Heh, it’s pretty hard to impress husbands so we’ll done. I’m happy to hear that my teaching style worked for you and you had great success with your projects!

Hi Crafti Patti! Great work as always.❤ How do you lift your presser foot to accommodate cotton sash cord? I'm working with a 0.5cm rope.

Мне нужно переводить в Google на другие языки, так как я говорю только по-английски. I’m glad you can understand the video. I have to translate other languages in google as I only speak English.

Using clear wash away embroidery stuff at the start helps heaps. Use a big bit underneath at the start.

For a cross body bag I would start one handle on the side of the bag when folded in half and then attach it to the other side of the bag. One long handle.
